Shortbelt Kit VX220 Turbo / Speedster Turbo

This kit will eliminate the well known problem with the generator-belt of the Speedster Turbo, which frequently rips or springs-off. The additional roller and spanner gets removed - the belt is guided directly from crankshaft-pulley to generator.
Installation will also save you approx. 3 kg of weight as an additional advantage.

Scope of supply:
- Generator belt
- adjustable upper generator bar
- necessary items for fitting
- illustrated fitting instructions (german language)

Attention!
Fitting this kit will usually require a modification of the oilfilter base to avoid contact between belt and oil-lines. The oilfilter base must be removed for modification, which will require a special tool. In doubt, please contact your Opel garage to get this modification done.
This can normally be avoided when fitting our "Underdrive Crankshaft Pulley" at the same time.

Remark:
This kit was initially developed by us for the Speedster Turbo / VXT220.
But it will also be ueseful for all other cars equipped with Z20LET / Z20LEL / Z20LER / Z20LEH / X20XEV engine without A/C or when attempting to uninstall the A/C system.
